This Weekend’s Picks

Don’t have a lot of time but I wanted to make my picks.

 Indy (-3) at Houston

I think Houston is game for this but Indy may have fixed their O-Line issues with the week off.  If you have Slaton on a fantasy team- start him, but otherwise give the points and take the Colts.

 Tennessee (-3) at Baltimore

I’m really amazed how much love Kerry Collins is getting from the TV people.  They must really think Vince Young sucks.  This will be a defensive struggle for sure.  Baltimore is coming off a tough Monday Nite loss in Pittsburg and I know there are no moral victories in the NFL but points will be at a premium in this one, so don’t give them up. Take Baltimore.

 San Diego (-6.5) at Miami

San Diego will be ready for Miami’s gadget plays.  Take the Chargers.

 Kansas City at Carolina (-9.5)

Kansas City stinks on the road, but Carolina is beating many people by 10.  Don’t really have a strong feeling here.  I’d keep the points and hope KC can hang on.

 Washington at Philadelphia (-6)

Regardless of the outcome, Washington will be sitting pretty in the NFC Beast after this week.  They will have finished their road games in NY, Philly and Big D.  The key to this one will be whether or not Westbrook can play.  Coming off the emotional victory in Dallas, I think the Skins will be on an emotional downer.  Take Philly.

 Chicago (-3.5) at Detroit

Millen maybe gone but he didn’t take Kitna with him.  Take Da Bears.

 Atlanta at Green Bay (-4)

Trust me Aaron Rodgers will start this game and he will play as long as it’s close.  You don’t fill #4’s shoes by going 2-2 and then missing a start due to injury.  Take the Pack.

 Seattle at NY Giants (-7)

Even without Plax the Giants have better receivers than Seattle.  Take the GMen.

 Tampa Bay at Denver (-3)

Griese stinks.  Shanahan knows it.  Take Denver.

New England (-3) at San Francisco

No way.  Take New England.

 Buffalo at Arizona (-1)

Basically a pick’m but isn’t one of these teams undefeated.  The Cardinals are the Cardinals.  Take Buffalo.

 Cincinnati at Dallas (-16)

What are the odds we won’t here a word from T.O. or Chaz Ocho Cinco after this one?  Take the Boys.

Pittsburgh at Jacksonville (-4)

Can you say playoff redemption?  But know running game and a poor o-line means trouble for Pittsburgh.  They surved Baltimore but not the Jags.  Take Jacksonville.

Minnesota at New Orleans (-3)

Drew Brees is more than likely the best QB in America right now.  Take the Saints.
