My picks were pretty bad last week.  I went 5-7-2.  But, let’s see if we can do better this week.

   Raiders at Saints (-7) 

Well, the Saints felt “good” about their Monday Nite loss to Minnesota, that have a distinct home field advantage and the Raiders new coach, Tom Crable, had two weeks to learn how to be a head coach in the NFL.  The Raiders are a talented young team but take the Saints.

  AT   (-4)

Honestly, I can’t be rational about the Ravens.  I’m kind of a fan.  That roughing call on Suggs was weak.  But I don’t think this team is ready for the Colts in Indy, even though their stock has dimished.  But, if the Bears can beat the Colts then the Ravens will destroy them.  Sorgi! Sorgi! Sorgi!  Take the Ravens.

  AT   (-5.5)

Brett Farve saves the season with half a dozen TD passes against the Cardinals then gets two weeks to learn six more plays before he takes on the Bengals.  J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS

 AT  (-1.5)

I guess your giving up 1.5 points if you take the Bucs because they are at home.  Because otherwise, Brian Griese sucks, so take the Panth…What? Griese couldn’t practice on Thursday because of a sore elbow and is listed as third on the Bucs depth chart this week.  Well, by all means take the Bucs. 

  AT   (-13)

This is actually tough.  I mean don’t get me wrong, the Lions suck and Dan Orlovsky is starting but 13 points seems like a lot for the Vikes to score, let alone win by.  Can AD run for 500 yards?  Maybe.  Take the Vikes.  And yes, I think those to Lions are about to do what you think they are about to do.

Oooh, our first favored road team.  I can’t understand how the Bears have have won 3 games.  I mean they are in 1st Place.  That just seems wrong.  Take the Falcons.  What?  The pics - so I like nature.

Is this the week Sage Rosenfelds finally gets revenge against his former team?  What? No.  How are the Texans favored?  Take the Fish.

 AT   (-13.5)

How fun have the Redskins been to watch?  I grew up with this team and despised them, it must have been Gibbs and Jack Kent Cooke (owner).  Daniel Snyder and Jim Zorn seem like stable guys.  Take the Skins.

       AT   (-3.5)

This was honestly a tough choice until I remembered that the Jags like to run the ball with Taylor and Jones-Drew.  Then I remembered the Broncos defense sucks.  Take the Jags.  And just so you know I found a picture of two Jaguars getting ready to you know and a picture of a very hot chick in a Jaguars bikini, but I resisted both!

Donovan McNabb stated like three times that he was embarrassed with how the Eagles played the last two weeks.  Figure he’ll take out his revenge on the 49ers and JT O’Sullivans lucky,  pink thong.

Are we surprised that the Cowboys aren’t  going to take disciplinary action against Pac Man Jones?  What?  Terrence Newman is hurt and Pacman has actually played a solid corner as his replacement.  Then the answer is NO.  I’m predicting a final score of 52-49 - Cowboys.  So take the Cardinals because I only think the Cowboys are gonna win by three and the spread is 4.5 -so take the Cardinals.  Don’t act confused.

I was thinking about the Seahawks glory year, they were quite a dynasty.  The Packers should win this game easily.  Or what, you didn’t see what happened against the Giants.  What?  I couldn’t find any pictures of current Packers, just of this guy.  I think it’s Reggie White.

If Merriman and Brady had a race on crutches, who do you think would win?  If the the Chargers lose this game, Norv Turner should be FIRED.  Take the Bolts.

Do you think the Browns have higher self-esteem because the Giants thought they were good enough to play Plaxico Burress against them?  Take the Giants.

Phillies 3, Dodgers 2 (That’s not a Game 1 prediction, the game just ended.)
