Jose Canseco and my wife have WAY too much in common.

Thankfully, they don’t look alike, so put that out of your mind right now.

thumbnailcagdhfjf.jpg  However, she would look pretty good in that shirt.  Anyway, I read a report today that Canseco was charged in federal court with trying to bring a fertility drug across the border from Mexico which I guess is a misdemeanor.  The drug is “human chorionic gonadotropin” or “HCG” and has been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency as it is often used by steriod users to replace testosterone.  It is illegal in the U.S. without a prescription.  How is any of this relevant to my wife?

thumbnailcasnnuf2.jpg No, I’m not married to this woman (Marion Jones).  But my wife has taken HCG 3 times.  You see it is the trigger shot they give women to get them to ovulate so that they can do an egg retrieval for the purposes of invitro fertilization (ivf).  A shot here in the U.S. can cost about $75.   So, Canseco really, really wanted it (without the benefit of a prescription) or he is really hurting for money and can’t afford $75 or he had a truckload of it.

In planning, his defense I think Canseco should play the infertility card.  As an admitted steriod user, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch for a jury to believe that his testicles are dried up tiny beans with very few, very stunted spermoza.  And since infertility is not covered by health insurance, unlike say -HAIR PLUGS, he could argue that he was forced to go to Mexico to purchase his significant other’s much needed trigger shot.  We got our shots (and there were many other shots) from a pharmacy in Europe (with a presciption and a recommendation from our physician).  And I’ll tell you what, with 3 eggs retrievals under our belts, the money we saved on those Euro meds made it all possible.  Every little bit helps.

So if your in need of HCG or other infertility meds and have a valid prescription go to http://ivfmeds.com/ but of course, talk to your doctor first.
