Did anybody catch Jay Cutler’s interview at the end of the Patriot rout of the Broncos last night on MNF?  For about 2 months now I have been lamenting the Cardinals 2006 Draft Pick of Matt Leinart and his pension for parties rather than playoffs.

Meanwhile at the start of the season, Cutler had Denver’s offense looking more like a well oiled machine than an well oiled bikini baby.  But last night after a tough loss where he by all accounts toughed it out after hurting his hand in the first half, he came across as spoiled miserable teenager forced to give a recital at his parents 20th anniversary dinner.

I know Cutler was diagnosed with diabetes but they’ve said he’s got that under control.  He sure looked like he could’ve use a twinkie last night.  I was really suprised Shanahan did come out and spank his ass right there at the podium.  We are used to testy players after a tough loss and of course there are the prima donnas:

But Cutler took it to a new level with curt answers, sarcasm, eye rolling,  and fidgeting - I mean he really just came across as an immature, whiny - smart  ass.  He really reminded me of Spaulding Smails.

So I’ll take my laid back, bench warmin’, GQ wearin’, BFF havin’, baby makin’, celebrity bangin’, name droppin’, beer bongin’, not carin’ - Matt Leinhart any day.

When you consider the only quarterback taken ahead of him was this guy-

Enough said.
